MRF Ambassador Program

Are you a migraine sufferer or close to someone who is? Do you want to help end the suffering? Help the Migraine Research Foundation raise money for research while raising awareness about migraine – join our MRF Ambassador Program!

MRF Ambassadors are sufferers and their loved ones – people active on social media, bloggers, people who love to email, or all of the above! MRF Ambassadors can work alone or in teams to raise money for migraine research by spreading the word about MRF and the need for research.

MRF Ambassadors are part of our team and share a long-term commitment with MRF to open doors to a cure for migraine.

How it works

MRF Ambassadors are our most dedicated supporters who commit to helping us long-term. MRF Ambassadors fundraise, and MRF Ambassadors signal boost – they’re always ready to share our news and updates with their networks.

Fundraising MRF Ambassadors are our top-tier fundraisers. They first plan and set goals for their campaigns, then use their networks to raise money for research and raise awareness of MRF. There are many ways to do this. Get some ideas here and apply below.

Signal Boosting MRF Ambassadors provide new networks and access over and above what we can do ourselves. Signal boosters are always ready to help MRF launch new projects and spread our news by sharing our links and asking their contacts to sign up for our mailing list.

To apply

with a brief introduction (2 – 3 sentences) explaining why you want to be an MRF Ambassador and what you love about MRF’s work.

Then, plan your campaign and share it with us by answering these three questions:

  1. Timing: When will you start, and what are your deadlines?
  2. Outreach: Who are you planning to contact, and how will you contact them? Who will you ask to help you?
  3. Goals: How much money do you plan to raise? How many contacts do you plan to introduce to MRF?

We’ll review your application, and if you’re accepted, we’ll send you what you need to get started.

How we’ll help

Want to Instagram pictures of yourself in an MRF shirt? We’ll send you a shirt! Baseball cap? We have those too! Have a blog or website? We’ll send you your own customized MRF Ambassador button with a link to us. Raise a lot of money? We’ll interview you for our website!
